Requirements

  • 15+ years experience in selling professional or managed IT services in the cloud, application, analytics, data management and data infrastructure space
  • Previous experience in a senior sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets in the technology services sector
  • Minimum 5 years experience in leading a sales team
  • Experience in selling cloud technologies and services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure) with Google experience is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of the vital role of data in the application and analytics space and the various underlying technologies both in the cloud and on prem
  • Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Ideally combined background of post-sale and sales experience
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in the use of Salesforce, and its importance

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the East Sales team to meet quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Develop and execute territory, account, partner engagement and talent strategies to achieve the bookings and growth targets for the territory
  • Play an active role in the development and management of the Google field and leadership relationships within your region
  • Develop and coach sales reps, manage performance and lead teams to success
  • Exhibit a strong sales management and operations focus that includes timely and accurate forecasting, emphasizes quality of opportunity and customer data and leads by example through the regular usage of Salesforce in management cadence
  • Play an active role in the retention and growth of the strategic accounts within your region, to include leading account planning sessions, conducting whitespace analysis, participating in customer QBRs, developing renewal strategies and challenging the team to find new growth opportunities
  • Contribute to the strategic growth and direction of the assigned territory by working hand in hand with Offerings, Business Development, Office of the CTO, Marketing and Service Delivery
  • Participate in and contribute to cross-functional and extended leadership forums, as required
  • Travel as required to attend in-person meetings with prospects and clients, attend conferences, trade shows, and other industry events, as well as annual sales kickoff meetings

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in selling cloud technologies and services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure) with Google experience is considered an asset
