Summary
Join our team as a Virtual Learning Coordinator and play a key role in scheduling and conducting virtual training courses. As a full-time employee working online, you will utilize the Distance Learning Guide to determine available broadcasts and coordinate with training providers to obtain slots on the Aeronautical Telecommunications Network downlink.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field is typically required
- Experience in distance learning administration, instructional design, online course development, or educational technology is highly desirable
- An associate degree, or higher, in an IT field or a minimum of 3 years of IT experience
- A good working knowledge of the administrative procedures of the variety of testing programs offered at Minot AFB
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certifications are preferred
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, programming languages, and client and server networking environments is required
Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct virtual training courses and video tele-training courses
- Utilize the Distance Learning Guide or Government Education and Training Network schedule to determine available broadcast and verify broadcast identified during annual screening and out-of-cycle request
- Coordinate with the appropriate training provider to obtain a slot on the Aeronautical Telecommunications Network downlink
- Notify customers when scheduled downlink is confirmed
- Obtain names of students from units and reserve the training room for the scheduled broadcast
- Monitor the classroom periodically during the broadcast and must be available to assist with any technical problems that may occur
- Notify the Contracting Officerβs Representative of malfunctioning equipment
