Summary

Join Wpromote as VP, B2B Strategy to redefine the agency's approach to B2B strategy and expand market share. As an individual contributor, you will lead strategic development of new business pitches, collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate client objectives into marketing KPIs, and develop comprehensive strategies for existing clients. You will create full-funnel media plans, partner with the product team, leverage Martech tools, establish and monitor KPIs, and provide thought leadership. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in media agencies, media sales, or as an in-house marketer on the brand/advertiser side
  • Strong knowledge of the B2B sales funnel, demand generation, and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling pitches and lead client discussions
  • An analytical mindset with expertise in translating data into actionable insights
  • A fresh, innovative perspective that challenges traditional approaches to media strategy
  • Established relationships with media partners and Martech companies to unlock first-look opportunities and ensure activation success
  • A visionary mindset and collaborative style, with the ability to work with investment teams to set the vision and execute best-in-class plans
  • Proven ability to “own the room” in both new business and client-facing settings
  • Experience briefing media partners and vendors on innovative B2B campaigns and successfully executing those ideas
  • Expertise in leveraging planning and research tools to craft compelling, data-driven narratives for clients
  • Deep knowledge of managing Martech tools (intent platforms, marketing automation, CRM systems) and their role in driving B2B success

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development of new business pitches to acquire B2B clients, showcasing Wpromote’s expertise in media and technology
  • Collaborate with leaders across channel teams, strategy, sales, and marketing to refine our go-to-market approach and strengthen positioning with prospective clients
  • Translate client business objectives into marketing KPIs that drive long-term growth, brand resonance, and market penetration
  • Develop comprehensive, scalable strategies for existing B2B clients to achieve measurable business outcomes
  • Create full-funnel media plans that bridge insights, communication planning, and seamless integration of awareness and performance objectives
  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to establish high-impact, long-term strategies by developing account plans, audience and messaging insights, buyer journey frameworks, and media mix recommendations
  • Partner with Wpromote’s product team to develop impactful B2B planning and measurement tools that differentiate the agency in the marketplace
  • Leverage and recommend Martech tools such as intent platforms (6Sense, Demandbase), marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot), and CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot) to enhance client success
  • Establish and monitoring KPIs for B2B campaigns, identifying opportunities to optimize and exceed client expectations
  • Provide thought leadership on the evolving B2B landscape by sharing insights and strategies with internal teams, clients, and at industry conferences or webinars
  • Lead the agency transition from a primarily B2C agency to one adept at comprehensive B2B and B2C media planning and activation
  • Establish OKRs for growing and scaling B2B new client business
