Summary
Join Promise Robotics, a rapidly growing technology startup, as their first US hire to lead commercial efforts and scale their Homebuilding Factory As-a-Service solution. This role involves developing and executing a US market entry strategy, identifying business opportunities, acquiring customers, and forging strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for securing high-value deals, refining the go-to-market strategy, and building the sales function. Success requires strategic vision, a strong network, sales expertise, and deep understanding of residential construction. This is a founding role with significant upside for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of residential home building construction products and processes
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of successfully managing business development initiatives in the home building industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
- Experience with data-driven sales strategies
- Ability to travel as needed
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to help us enter and grow in the United States market
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify high-impact business opportunities
- Cultivate relationships with customers, partners, and other stakeholders to secure new business opportunities
- Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures to drive business growth
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the industry
- Lead the creation and presentation of proposals, pitches, and RFP responses to secure new business
- Set and achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets, ensuring sustainable growth
- Represent Promise Robotics at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build awareness and strengthen relationships
- Provide regular updates to the leadership team on progress, challenges, and opportunities in the new market
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree
