Summary

PayJunction is seeking a VP of Growth to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance customer engagement by implementing strategies for acquiring new revenue sources, entering new markets, launching new products, fostering strong client relationships, providing strategic direction to sales and marketing teams, and more. The position requires at least 10 years of progressive experience in revenue generation roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, and a minimum of 7 years' experience in the payment processing industry.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in revenue generation roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position within the sales, marketing, or related field. At least 3 years in a VP role
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required. Preferably in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Minimum 7 years  experience in the payment processing industry is required
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets, especially in a technology or financial services environment
  • Experience in companies over 100 people as a W2 employee
  • Leadership experience with direct reports from leaders in Sales, Marketing, Strategic Partnerships/Business Development, Account Management/Customer Success, and Product Management
  • Familiarity with the latest technology trends and tools relevant to the payment processing industry
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and their role in payment processing and system integrations
  • Fluent daily experience in Salesforce
  • Experience in defining product strategy, roadmaps and managing product life cycles

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new revenue sources, entering new markets, and launching new products
  • Foster strong, long-term client relationships, implement customer feedback loops, and execute retention strategies like loyalty programs
  • Provide strategic direction to sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with revenue and customer expansion goals
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators, report on revenue performance, and provide insights to the executive team
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adapt strategies based on SWOT analysis
  • Lead and mentor teams, promoting high performance and continuous improvement through training and development
  • Leverage strategic partnerships to open new revenue channels and develop joint strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Drive product innovation, collaborate with the product team, and launch features contributing to revenue growth
  • Oversee brand management, enhance brand value, and achieve increased brand awareness and positive sentiment
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and integrate new technologies to improve efficiency and customer experience
