Summary

Join Convoso as Vice President of Sales to lead revenue growth, scaling inbound and outbound sales motions. This role demands strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of sales processes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is required
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving systematic sales growth
  • Substantial experience (5+ years) in a senior sales leadership role (e.g., Director of Sales, Regional VP of Sales) within a SaaS or high growth technology company
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies, building high-performing sales teams, and managing varied sales cycles
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales coaching / enablement tools is essential
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales organization
  • Effective ability to set clear goals, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and hold teams accountable for achieving results
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, customers, and partners
  • Proven ability to motivate and inspire sales teams to achieve and exceed targets
  • Effective coaching and performance management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to foster a collaborative, results-oriented, and positive team culture
  • Effective strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market trends and business objectives into effective sales strategies
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, forecasting methodologies, and pipeline management
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify key insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Effective financial acumen and understanding of budget management and ROI analysis
  • Ability to develop and manage sales budgets effectively
  • Understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer segmentation

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Outcomes
  • Own the number and lead execution with rigor and urgency
  • Deliver accurate, data-driven forecasts the business can plan against
  • Maintain pipeline health through disciplined inspection and stage-based management
  • Support and guide multi-threaded, value-based selling to drive deal velocity
  • Personally engage in key customer conversations and negotiations
  • Lead with a competitive mindset and a focus on consistent target attainment
  • Lead, Coach, and Elevate the Sales Team
  • Develop a high-performance, growth-minded sales org
  • Build and scale a team that consistently meets and exceeds goals
  • Establish a structured coaching rhythm (call reviews, 1:1s, team training)
  • Set clear expectations and hold individuals accountable to results
  • Promote a culture of ownership, feedback, and continuous improvement
  • Model effective selling behaviors and lead from the front
  • Architect and Scale the GTM System
  • Design and operate the structure that drives scalable, repeatable growth
  • Build and refine dual-engine GTM (inbound + outbound) strategies
  • Define segmentation, territories, and coverage aligned to growth goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with Marketing, CS, Product, and RevOps
  • Partner with RevOps to implement process rigor, CRM hygiene, and data visibility
  • Contribute to annual planning with insights on structure, targets, and resource needs
  • Unlock New Revenue Opportunities
  • Expand how, where, and to whom we sell
  • Identify and test new customer segments, use cases, and verticals
  • Launch and iterate on new sales motions (e.g., ABM, partner-led, upsell)
  • Collaborate on packaging, pricing, and positioning for emerging opportunities
  • Bring customer and market insights back to influence product and GTM strategy
  • Represent Convoso at key industry events, strategic meetings, and growth forums

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master's degree (MBA) is highly preferred
  • Domain expertise in contact center software, outbound call center operations, and performance marketing is a major advantage
