Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, or sales leadership roles, with a proven track record in achieving revenue goals
  • Proficient in sales tools and platforms such as CRM systems, GSuite, and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals
  • Identify and target key market opportunities to drive customer acquisition and retention
  • Work closely with C-level to determine strategy, propose opportunities, and execute on those
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed targets
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive sales culture that aligns with Nithio's values
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified opportunities
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and investors
  • Contribute to the vision and strategy around our product offerings and identify or refine them according to market trends and demand
  • Key involvement in the strategy around new product development, where opportunities are identified to steer development in the right direction
  • Maintain a feedback loop with key stakeholders, partners, and investors on current and new products, and oversee the MVPs that are brought to market
  • Utilize data analytics to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement in sales performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales objectives with company goals
  • Use of data to strategize on product or partnership developments
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their needs and challenges with innovative solutions
  • Represent Nithio at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and credibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in climate finance, renewable energy, or AI-driven platforms
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills
  • Prior experience in working in sub-Saharan Africa or other emerging / frontier markets
  • Prior experience in strategy consulting
