Summary

Join Pavago's internal team as a full-time, remote Web Developer. This role focuses on building, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality websites using Webflow and WordPress. You will convert Figma designs into Webflow websites, build custom interactions, and develop custom CMS-driven solutions. Expertise in Webflow and WordPress development, including front-end and back-end skills, is essential. The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A typical day involves collaborating with designers, developing websites, debugging issues, and optimizing for performance and SEO.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Webflow development, including CMS implementation and API integration
  • Strong expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development from scratch
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (GSAP, jQuery), and PHP
  • Experience optimizing websites for speed, SEO, and accessibility
  • Understanding of debugging SEO-related issues such as duplicate content and broken links and ability to troubleshoot performance and security vulnerabilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect Webflow websites
  • Build custom interactions and animations using Webflow’s native tools and JavaScript (GSAP, jQuery, Lottie, etc.)
  • Extend Webflow functionality using custom CSS, JavaScript, and Webflow API
  • Develop custom CMS-driven solutions in Webflow, ensuring scalability and efficiency
  • Optimize Webflow sites for performance, SEO, and accessibility
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
  • Use PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create high-performance WordPress solutions
  • Develop secure, high-performance WordPress websites using best practices
  • Integrate third-party APIs and develop custom functionalities
  • Optimize WordPress sites for performance, SEO, and accessibility
  • Debug and fix SEO-related issues, such as duplicate content, broken links, and improper redirects
  • Work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance front-end functionality
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong eye for design and pixel-perfect implementation
  • Proficient in both Webflow and WordPress development and experienced in JavaScript, GSAP, jQuery, PHP, and Webflow API
  • Understanding of performance optimization, SEO best practices, and accessibility
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with designers and developers
