Windows Systems Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, database management, and system administration tools
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex system issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• An understanding of security best practices

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all infrastructure and systems, including configuration, testing, and maintenance
• Identify potential issues and implement solutions proactively
• Administer and optimize hosts and servers to ensure a high degree of availability and appropriate resource management
• Install and configure operating systems, software and systems while clearly documenting design, maintenance, and support procedures
• Interface and coordinate with other staff and teams to perform operational and maintenance activities

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Splunk or other similar platforms
• 1+ years of experience with Ansible
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios and PMM
• Familiarization with Ruby, Python, Bash or other scripting languages
