Workday Integration Consultant

Summary

The job description is for a remote Workday Integrations Consultant role at VirtualResource (VR). The role involves designing, building, testing, and deploying integration solutions for clients. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years' experience as a Workday Integration Developer with proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, PECI/CCW, and other Workday integration tools.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Workday Integration Developer
• 5+ years of experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware)
• Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, PECI/CCW, and other Workday integration tools
• Strong understanding of XML, XSLT, REST, and SOAP web services
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
• Experience with SQL and database management
• Deep understanding of Workday HCM and business processes
• Familiarity with Workday security model and data governance
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy integration solutions for customers
• Provide guidance to clients or service partners on integration strategies
• Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs
• Develop and execute test plans, manage scenario testing and validation of file solutions
• Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions and ultimately drive requirements sign-off
• Manage the setup, analysis, validation and integration of partner data exchanges
• Support the change order process through providing estimates on effort, defining requirements, develop the solution

Preferred Qualifications

• College or University Degree in HR or Information Systems
• Workday Integration Certification is a plus
• Ideally have Workday Extend experience
• Certifications in related technologies or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) are advantageous
• Experience with any of the following: Java, JavaScript, .NET, XSLT, NetBeans IDE development background
