Workday Systems Engineer - HCM / Benefits

Summary
Join GoDaddy's Workday HCM Technology team as a Workday Systems Engineer, leading and supporting global HCM & Benefits configurations. You will configure, maintain, and enhance Workday modules, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously monitor Workday releases. This remote position requires 4+ years of experience in HCM and Benefits applications, including at least 2 years of hands-on Workday configuration. Strong understanding of Workday's Business Process and Security Framework is essential. The role involves managing multiple projects and collaborating with diverse teams. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in HCM and Benefits applications, including at least 2 years of hands-on Workday configuration (business processes, condition rules, calculated fields) with a focus on HCM & Benefits
- Strong understanding of Workdayโs Business Process and Security Framework, HCM & Benefits architecture, eligibility rules, enrollment processing, integrations, and basic custom report creation
- Proficient in preparing/loading EIBs for mass transactions and possessing cross-functional experience with other Workday modules
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment, managing multiple projects and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and solution architecture skills, with prior experience in functional or technical ERP implementation
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday HCM & Global Benefits modules, including business processes, eligibility rules, enrollment events, custom reports, and integrations; lead and support cyclic projects such as Annual Open Enrollment and new implementations across multiple countries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to gather requirements, prototype solutions, manage sprint activities, support UAT, resolve production issues, and provide end-user training, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational needs
- Continuously monitor Workday releases, participate in industry forums, recommend process improvements, document configurations, and stay updated on emerging features to optimize system functionality and support business growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certification in one or multiple modules -core HCM/ Benefits
- Experience with new implementations/global acquisitions and supporting the related setup in Workday
- Bachelorโs Degree from a four-year college or university in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
