Summary

Join Toast as a Zuora Billing System Administrator, where you will be the primary internal support contact for Zuora Billing. You will collaborate with stakeholders, provide front-line support, design and maintain Zuora applications, and serve as an internal SME. Responsibilities include ensuring system access compliance, managing the change and release process, and staying current on system functionality. This role requires 3+ years of Zuora Billing administration experience, including 3rd party integrations, and knowledge of various Zuora modules and the full billing cycle. The ideal candidate will also possess experience with Netsuite ERP and Zuora APIs. Toast offers competitive compensation and benefits, including a base salary range of $96,000-$154,000 USD, plus additional cash compensation, equity, and benefits.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Zuora Billing administration and configuration, including 3rd party integrations in complex environments
  • Experience supporting Zuora Billing modules: Customers, Product Catalog, Subscriptions, Billing & Invoicing, Payments and Taxes
  • Experience working in Zuora Billing administration: User access, HTML/PDF templates, Custom fields, Notifications/email templates, data interface integrations, Workflows and Reports
  • Knowledge of the full billing cycle, including Invoicing, Invoice Templates, Payment, and Payment Gateway configuration. Revenue Recognition, Financial Reporting, and integration into the ERP system
  • Understand Payment Gateways, Country Specific requirements, Refund, Chargeback, Cancellation, and Network Tokenization
  • Experience working in Zuora sandbox, including deployment across multiple environments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives related to Zuora Subscription Billing
  • Provide front-line support with regard to all aspects of business-facing applications and troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate, and resolve issues
  • Design, implement, and maintain configurations and customizations of Zuora applications to meet the evolving needs of the business team
  • Serve as internal SME and provide guidance on best practices, using domain knowledge and prior experience
  • Drive optimal solutions and demonstrate proactive initiative by identifying potential areas of improvement and proposing projects aimed at optimizing business operations
  • Maintain proper system access for user roles ensuring compliance with the segregation of duties
  • Responsible for the change management and release process of Zuora Billing
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system functionality, customization, and integration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Netsuite ERP
  • Zuora Billing Certification
  • Experience with Zuora Revenue a plus
  • Experience working in Zuora APIs
  • Prior experience in a ZBilling implementation
  • Experience working with Vertex or similar tax engines
