Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2+ years of full-cycle sales experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to overcome objections and drive sales
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Must be outgoing and self-motivated
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required

Responsibilities

  • Generate new clients through cold calling and networking within a defined market
  • Strategically target, qualify, contact and close new business prospects
  • High activity volume of calls and emails daily
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date list of all sales pipeline activity, including leads, prospects, forecasts, demographic profiling information, prospect contact information and account planning information in Salesforce
  • Maintain the highest level of expertise on Higher Logic’s features, functionality, pricing and implementation timeline
  • Deliver tailored online web presentations to prospects
  • Create, negotiate and close contract agreements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies and marketing information
  • Meet or exceed annual sales quota
  • Attend industry functions, events, conferences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Salesforce preferred
  • Business development experience preferred
  • Customer facing experience in a technology/software role preferred
