Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial sales or business development roles in the tech or cloud services industry
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of achieving growth targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and execute sales strategies to exceed sales targets
  • Ability to collaborate with Marketing and Partners on strategies to build visibility, brand awareness and identify new opportunities
  • Ability to understand customer business and financial needs, and critically qualify market opportunities
  • Ability to generate and qualify leads
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and MSPs
  • Strong Negotiation and Closing Skills
  • Highly organized individual, with the ability to plan, execute, and pay attention to details without losing sight of the company vision and strategy
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

Work with all groups within Alcion, including leadership, and all external partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with the Microsoft ecosystem and/or a strong background in backup technology solutions
  • Work experience at early-stage startups
  • Experience running customer or partner advisory boards
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, SaaS, and data protection solutions
