Account Executive

Summary

Join Ascend, a rapidly growing SaaS company, as an Account Executive and leverage your sales expertise to sell invoice processing and payments automation solutions within the Workday ecosystem. This fully remote position offers a base salary of $125,000 with uncapped commission. You will collaborate with marketing, internal teams, and prospects to drive sales, manage pipelines, and negotiate contracts. Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in selling invoice processing and payments automation software solutions
• Great people skills paired with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to win new business
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
• Strong analytical problem solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills
• Track record of consistent over-achievement against plan

Responsibilities

• Work with Marketing to prospect within Ascend’s addressable market and develop a target account list
• Meet with prospect stakeholders both virtually and on-site to complete discovery and conduct demos
• Lead internal teams including Account Management, Customer Experience, Senior Leadership, and Sales Engineering to articulate Ascend’s value proposition
• Maintain accurate and timely pipeline and forecast data and prospect account information
• Develop and present formal proposals, lead contract negotiations, coordinate and respond to RFP and INFOSEC requests, and shepherd deals through close
• Conduct research, facilitate automated campaigns, and perform personalized outreach
