Requirements

  • Ability to listen, understand prospective school processes, needs, and priorities to support a solution based sales approach
  • Persistence with the ability to drive value
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Ability to prioritize and work autonomously in a fast paced environment
  • Comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems and software quickly (ideally including CRM experience such as HubSpot)
  • Able to spend several weeks a quarter traveling to attend events
  • Finds satisfaction in contributing to a winning team and helping teammates succeed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excited by the prospect of cross team collaboration (i.e. marketing, engineering and client success teams)
  • Has a growth mindset and is hungry for a role that has lots of opportunity for personal and professional growth

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and network to generate new leads
  • Strategically collaborate with marketing to identify opportunities and produce both virtual and in-person events
  • Attend in-person events as a representative of Clarity
  • Conduct product demonstrations for prospective school partners
  • Report and record all sales activities in CRM system
  • Provide feedback to the product team on what features and functionality will help to sign up more school partners
  • Manage all aspects of prospect relationships and sales cycle processes from lead generation through deal closure to meet defined team sales goals
  • Report to Director of Sales and serve as a member of the sales team
