Requirements
- Ability to listen, understand prospective school processes, needs, and priorities to support a solution based sales approach
- Persistence with the ability to drive value
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Ability to prioritize and work autonomously in a fast paced environment
- Comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems and software quickly (ideally including CRM experience such as HubSpot)
- Able to spend several weeks a quarter traveling to attend events
- Finds satisfaction in contributing to a winning team and helping teammates succeed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excited by the prospect of cross team collaboration (i.e. marketing, engineering and client success teams)
- Has a growth mindset and is hungry for a role that has lots of opportunity for personal and professional growth
Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and network to generate new leads
- Strategically collaborate with marketing to identify opportunities and produce both virtual and in-person events
- Attend in-person events as a representative of Clarity
- Conduct product demonstrations for prospective school partners
- Report and record all sales activities in CRM system
- Provide feedback to the product team on what features and functionality will help to sign up more school partners
- Manage all aspects of prospect relationships and sales cycle processes from lead generation through deal closure to meet defined team sales goals
- Report to Director of Sales and serve as a member of the sales team
