Requirements

  • Minimum five years of directly relevant professional experience in business development, account and relationship management
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Previous experience working with government SaaS contracting mechanisms and sales processes
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) and / or the digital services and platforms industry

Responsibilities

  • Connect with the right people in the government & public sector
  • Generate new business opportunities within the Australia and New Zealand market through a combination of outbound calling, emailing
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries, and opportunities generated by attending company events and webinars
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to close and communicate any challenges or wins to the team
  • Gain an understanding of the prospective customer's pain points and educate on Granicus' value
  • Highlight our differentiators, effectively demoing the product over video conference, and guiding them through the sales process
  • Confidently run product demos for decision-makers of companies varying across all levels of Government
  • Work closely with team members to achieve sales goals and work collaboratively with our Product Team and Customer Success Team to support and set expectations for customers
  • Travel within your territory to visit prospects and attend industry events as required
