Account Executive

Summary

Join Headout, a rapidly growing and profitable travel marketplace, as an Account Executive in Malaysia. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will spearhead commercial efforts and expansion, acting as the primary liaison with supply partners. This role involves building new partnerships, nurturing existing relationships, collaborating with internal teams, and analyzing market trends. You will be responsible for launching new cities by identifying and onboarding new supply partners. The position offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact Headout's growth and development. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and business development skills, along with fluency in Malay and English.

Requirements

• Fully proficient Malay and English speaker based in Kuala Lumpur
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, preferably in travel-related products
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communications skills
• Global mindset and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds & time zones
• A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial mindset and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
• Experience working with a CRM; eager to learn and use new tools

Responsibilities

• Lead our commercial efforts and expansion in Malaysia
• Be the face and voice of Headout to our Supply Partners in the region
• Launch new cities by identifying, reaching-out and onboarding new Supply Partners in Malaysia
• Continuously nurture relationships with our existing Supply Partners in order to leverage them for additional growth
• Liaise between internal stakeholders (Operations, Tech, Marketing, etc.) and your accounts in order to ensure smooth execution of the partnerships and growth of bookings
• Identify market trends and provide market & competitor analysis to optimize business strategies
