Summary

Join Syndigo's Nutrition & Wellness Team as a Business Development Executive and drive revenue growth by identifying new clients, showcasing product value, and developing outreach strategies. You will play a key role in expanding Syndigo's presence within pharmaceutical and clinical research organizations, as well as identifying companies suitable for other nutrition and wellness solutions. Responsibilities include generating leads, prospecting, understanding client needs, utilizing a consultative sales approach, working with internal resources, building relationships, scheduling meetings, negotiating pricing and contracts, developing account strategies, managing pipelines, and more. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, a proven track record of selling data-driven or SaaS products, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or clinical research sales is highly preferred. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through professional networking and cold calling techniques
  • Prospecting and building new business opportunities
  • Ability to understand prospect needs and effectively communicate value proposition to prospects
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to close opportunities with senior level executives
  • Work with internal resources to ensure efficient set up and delivery of contracts systems
  • Initiate and build prospect relationships
  • Coordinate and schedule online and onsite meetings of key decision makers
  • Negotiate and participate in pricing strategy
  • Negotiate contract terms within the acceptable guidelines provided by Syndigo
  • Develop prospect account strategy and plan
  • Coordinate plans to include internal support of objectives
  • Own and manage pipeline in Salesforce.com

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in selling services with database or API a plus
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or clinical research sales highly preferred
  • Strong personal interest in the following areas is a huge plus
  • Nutrition transparency
  • Quantified-self (food and activity tracking)
  • Interest in technology, especially mobile technology
