Summary

The job is for a Remote Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with BlueConic's largest media customers, support them in achieving their business goals, and overachieve against BlueConic’s commercial goals. The role requires 5+ years of experience in B2B software/SaaS account management, excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, organizational skills, and a consultative selling approach.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience achieving quota and carrying a book of business comprising large accounts in a B2B software/SaaS account management role (or directly related position), ideally within the marketing technology space
  • Superlative communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
  • Well-honed negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude and strong understanding of what levers can be pulled to structure deals that are attractive to customers and BlueConic alike
  • Proven ability to deftly manage escalations, timelines, priorities, and expectations
  • Organizational and prioritization skills that set you apart from your peers
  • Gone above and beyond for clients and can speak to the resulting quantitative and qualitative success from your efforts
  • A consultative selling approach, spending time with the customer to intimately understand the business problem(s) they are trying to solve, and recommending a specific, tailored solution
  • Deep understanding of organizational dynamics and multi-level decision making structures within a customer organization
  • Experience leveraging networking tools and teams to expand the breadth of relationships within the customer organization

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with BlueConic’s largest customers in the media space
  • Support customers as they rely on BlueConic to drive and execute their most important marketing executives
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to develop tailored growth plans for the accounts in your portfolio
  • Own the relationship with your customer portfolio, including communicating with stakeholders on a regular basis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with customer data platforms, digital analytics, personalization/tag management, campaign management, and/or web-based technologies
  • Worked in the marketing technology space for a considerable part of your career
  • Previously been a marketing practitioner, either at a brand or agency, and have a firm grasp on marketing strategy and tactics
  • Worked in the Media space, either with a media brand and/or company

  • Annual base salary within the range of $85,000 β€” $115,000 USD
  • Annual commission target within the range of $46,750 β€” $63,250 USD
