Summary

Join BS&A Software as a Payments Account Manager and drive enterprise cross-sell and migration efforts for municipalities using third-party payment providers. This key role demands exceptional relationship management and a consultative approach to help municipalities leverage integrated payments. You will serve as the primary contact for top accounts, build strong stakeholder relationships, and identify cross-sell opportunities. The position requires developing account strategies, conducting discovery sessions, coordinating with legal and marketing teams, and collaborating with product and support teams. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in payments or GovTech sales/account management
  • Proven track record of building relationships and achieving sales quotas
  • Understanding of payment processing workflows and common challenges in municipal finance
  • Willingness to travel for in-person meetings and regional events

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal customers, particularly those in the Top 100 accounts, ensuring a seamless transition to BS&A Payments
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including finance and operations leaders in municipal governments
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base
  • Develop and execute tailored account strategies to transition municipalities from third-party processors to BS&A Payments
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer needs and pain points, offering solutions that enhance reconciliation, adoption, and overall satisfaction
  • Coordinate with legal teams on contractual obligations and stored payment method migrations
  • Work closely with marketing to personalize outreach campaigns for non-integrated accounts
  • Partner with product and support teams to resolve customer challenges quickly and effectively
