Summary
Join Impossible Foods as an Account Manager โ Retail Sales and contribute to the growth of our plant-based food products. This role is key to building and maintaining customer relationships, developing trade promotions, and achieving sales goals. You will be the primary point of contact for key accounts, developing business plans, and executing sales presentations. The position requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with internal teams, and the ability to manage sales targets. This remote position, preferably located in the South or Texas, reports to the Director of Retail Sales and offers a competitive salary, equity, benefits, and a sales incentive bonus.
Requirements
- A Bachelorโs degree (BA or BS)
- 3-6 years of CPG/food retail sales experience, ideally with key customers like HEB or SEG
- Experience of Food/Beverage account management in the Retail channel
- Ability to travel ~35% of the time
Responsibilities
- Act as customer contact for key Southeast and Central direct accounts (included but not limited to HEB, SEG, Hy-Vee, Schunckโs, Stater Bros, etc.) with responsibility for growing sales (volume and net revenue) and share
- Develop and grow our partnership and pioneer the business planning process with partners
- Execute all sales presentations and line reviews to successfully drive key initiatives and identify growth opportunities for customer base and Impossible
- Understand customer business needs, with a goal of building both short and long-term strategies to drive mutually beneficial results
- Manage the annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets and establish a plan for achieving/exceeding targets
- Own bottom up forecast for both existing and new products and inputs into S&OP process
- Use TPM system to handle total customer spending and deduction management in a timely manner and within budget
- Partner with internal cross-functional departments, to increase support across all business areas (Sales Strategy, Trade, Finance, Product, Supply, MarComms)
