Summary

Join Instacart's Account Management team as an experienced Manager to lead strategic efforts in efficiently managing a high volume of mid-market accounts. You will guide the transition from 1:1 engagements to impactful 1-to-many touchpoints, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency. This role involves hiring and developing a team, implementing scalable solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and partnering with sales leadership to achieve revenue goals. You will oversee a large portfolio of brands, advise Account Managers, and model best practices. The position requires strategic problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and the development of tools to optimize processes. Requirements

  • 6+ years in relevant functional roles, with 2-4 years in management, ideally in a scaled Ads, SaaS or tech-driven environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams in dynamic, fast-paced settings

Responsibilities

  • Hire, develop and manage a team focused on maximizing advertiser ROI through scalable account management strategies
  • Foster a team culture oriented towards innovation and efficiency
  • Implement scalable solutions for our partnerships, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance the customer journey, optimize resource allocation and improve advertiser performance
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to develop and implement new processes that will impact both internal & external stakeholders and advocate for the needs of the unique customer cohort
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Account Executives to deliver on quarterly gross advertising revenue goals and OKRs
  • Oversee a large portfolio of brands, focusing on strategic initiatives that prioritizes & promotes growth across the entire book of business
  • Be a strategic advisor to Account Managers, consulting on how their partners can tap into Instacart’s platform capabilities for business growth, uncover incremental opportunities and drive efficiencies in campaigns
  • Model & coach best practice behaviors that will enable Account Managers to drive partners & Instacart’s business forward
  • Develop, set goals and drive tool creation to track the scalability of opportunities, focusing on reducing inefficiencies and improving processes
  • Identify operational pain points, make recommendations utilizing strategic problem-solving and deploying automation to optimize processes
  • Use insights to guide strategic decisions and continuous improvement efforts. This will include creating tools, standing up initiatives & effectively socializing best practices + ways of working

  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex strategic concepts in clear, actionable terms to stakeholders at all levels. Proven relationship-building skills
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills with an aptitude for applying innovative solutions to existing models. Thrives on navigating and leading through change
  • A track record of delivering on ambitious targets and objectives, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in overcoming challenges, and establishing frameworks that result in ROI-positive outcomes
