Summary

The job is for an Account Manager (IT) at Rittal, LLC. The role involves managing a territory, driving sales, coordinating with other teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Business Degree required or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years minimum IT selling experience to Edge, data centers, colocation customers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management tools is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver growth by managing your territory and driving results through cold calling, business development, and ensuring best in class customer experience
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Inside Sales and Key Account manager to coordinate projects within the constraint of IT to ensure you successfully hit your targets and goals
  • Represent and communicate Rittal’s overall IT product line to potential and current customer base
  • Assess customer product needs and provide full scope of product solutions
  • Service existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by calling on existing or potential accounts in an assigned territory
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing accounts and pitch content of sales presentations to potential customers
  • Keep management informed by submitting monthly activity-results reports and territory analyses
  • Help to monitor competitive publications by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and accounts
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
  • Attend networking events within your assigned territory
  • Increase sales and market share within a defined territory through measures of daily contact with customers, follow-up on potential leads and cold calling
  • Work closely with inside sales team to provide timely and profitable quotes
  • Assist in the development of annual business plan and coordinate its implementation
  • Keep management apprised of market trends and sales opportunities
  • Manage, recruit, and work in conjunction with local distributors to grow market share
