Summary

The Account Manager will work in an IT software sales position, focusing on maintaining existing contracts and identifying new opportunities with government clients. They will be part of a community of experienced industry experts and have access to various resources for customer engagement and market penetration.

Requirements

  • Strong desire to learn about Fed, Civilian, and SLED software sales
  • Knowledge of IT, cybersecurity, business intelligence, and data solutions
  • Understanding of government contract vehicles
  • 2+ years of technology sales experience
  • BA/BS degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support existing Federal, Civilian, State, and Local portfolios by maintaining existing contract renewals business
  • Work effectively with new and existing customers to structure account plans and go-to-market strategy to solve their current and future IT needs
  • Create leads, qualify opportunities, and forecast pipeline through account research, cold-calling, marketing, event follow up, and networking
  • Build strong client relationships and trust around client's overall IT mission
  • Work with partners to create and drive client meeting and event registration attendance
  • Provide ongoing market feedback surrounding client priorities and needs
