Summary

The job is for a Virtual Accountant in an accounting firm that offers expert advisory and outsourced accounting services to clients. The accountant will create M&A transaction models, analyze financial statements, manage data, generate reports, and communicate findings effectively. The position requires advanced Excel skills, finance and accounting acumen, 2-3 years of professional experience in audit or financial consulting (preferably with M&A transactions), a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Excel Proficiency: Possess advanced Excel skills, including complex formula creation and data manipulation
• Finance and Accounting Acumen: Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts
• Professional Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in audit or financial consulting; 3+ years preferred
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Building M&A Transaction Models: Create and maintain comprehensive M&A transaction models to support client needs
• Financial Statement Analysis: Analyze financial statements to identify key insights and trends
• Data Management: Collect, organize, and sift through financial data for input into financial models
• Report Generation and Analysis: Prepare clear and concise reports and analyses for clients

Preferred Qualifications

CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is a significant plus, but not mandatory
