Accountant

Summary

Join Job&Talent's Finance team as a fully remote Accountant. Day-to-day responsibilities include UK entity bookkeeping and accounting, VAT returns, HMRC filings, month-end close support, reconciliations, OPEX analysis, ICO matrix maintenance, audit assistance, and financial reporting. You will need to be part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) with 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience and a strong understanding of UK accounting standards and HMRC requirements. Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (NetSuite is a plus) are also necessary. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Requirements

• Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Understanding of UK accounting standards and HMRC requirements
• Advance Excel Skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for UK entities
• Submit VAT returns and HMRC filings
• Support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Analyze and explain OPEX fluctuations month over month, identifying key drivers and anomalies
• Own and maintain the ICO matrix
• Assist with audits and financial reporting to HQ
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Accounting Software ( Netsuite is a plus)
