This role involves reviewing and controlling the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet movements, for SOX compliance. You will also prepare and oversee intercompany accounts. Key responsibilities include working with the Finance Manager on monthly management accounts, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring timely tax returns and statutory audits. The ideal candidate possesses strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Additional desirable skills include familiarity with Microsoft Navision.

Responsibilities

• Work with and support the Finance Manager in the preparation of the monthly management accounts including Preparation of P&L with full narratives (inc those required for SOX)
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all balances are explained and reviewed
• Prepare Balance Sheet Flux Files on a quarterly basis
• Ensure that all tax returns and payments are made on time
• Ensure Statutory audits are delivered on time and within budget
• Assist in such duties as may be required
