Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an accountant, with a strong grasp of GAAP/IFRS
• Excellent Excel skills and proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent
• Strong command of English
• Ability to manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain full-cycle accounting processes, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in financial planning
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements in multiple jurisdictions
• Assist in year-end audits and tax preparations
• Provide strategic financial advice to support decision-making for growth, cost reduction, and risk management
• Implement or optimize accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) tailored to the client’s needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fractional, freelance, or project-based accounting roles is a plus
• CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred
