Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of GAAP principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards
  • Bilingual English / Spanish required
  • 1-2 years of previous accounting experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning and decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis and support for various projects and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of best practices within the finance department
  • Support external audits and tax filings as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, FloQast, Planful is a plus
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous
