Accounting Manager

Summary

The job is for an Accounting Manager at FREE NOW, a company focused on smart mobility solutions. The role involves overseeing and supervising accounting for international subsidiaries, preparing financial statements, coordinating inter-company accounts, and setting up and developing accounting processes. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and skills in finance and accounting.

Requirements

• Completed a university degree in economics or accounting, or completed a commercial education or apprenticeship with a qualified training
• Gained several years of professional experience in finance and accounting ideally in an international company and/or for Polish entities
• Good knowledge of local accounting standards, in-depth knowledge of IFRS, analytical mindset, strong understanding of numbers
• Develop a high sense of responsibility with an owner-mentality for your work field and know how to manage fast-close processes in an international group
• Very good MS Office skills, especially in MS Excel as well as in a common accounting software (e.g. Navision/Business Central or CCH Tagetik)
• Fluent English skills as well as a high level of teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise accounting for one or several international subsidiaries
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements of subsidiaries on time and in good quality
• Support the monthly group reporting according to IFRS
• Coordinate inter-company accounts and ensure on time/high quality by adhering to challenging timelines
• Work with tax advisers, manage external audits, and be responsible for local financial statements and all finance-relevant matters
• Support in setting up and developing accounting processes and respective KPIs for supervision
• Serve as the crucial link for local operational team and Consolidation Team to enable countries under your supervision to steer the business according to financials
