Summary
Join Honest Health as a temporary Manager, Accounting, reporting to the VP of Accounting. This hands-on role involves managing general accounting functions, establishing internal control procedures, preparing financial statements, and performing ad hoc analyses. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred), 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong leadership skills. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxes and the annual audit
- Establish and assess policies, practices and internal control procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist with general ledger accounting functions
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Assist with automating key financial reports
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or MBA
- Experience with Netsuite ERP administration and optimization
- Experience with other ERP systems (AP Automation/Credit Cards/Expense Management/Travel)
