Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management roles with relevant experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in FP&A
  • Experience developing pricing schedules
  • Experience working with contracting and RFP submissions
  • SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) experience required
  • ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)
  • Thoroughly versed in GAAP particularly with revenue recognition and technology related requirements, and have strong background in non-routine and complex transactions
  • Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of accounting, including operational accounting, treasury accounting, financial reporting, technical accounting, general ledger, and more
  • Take charge of the review and preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, including technical accounting
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial statements providing valuable business insights
  • Champion a successful audit process and develop, maintain, and enhance internal controls and reporting policies to ensure financial integrity
  • Responsible for top-line analytics which includes budgeting, forecasting, reporting and general analytics to drive business insights and growth
  • Review monthly forecasts
  • Explain deviations to budget, prior month and prior year
  • Present and discuss results with CFO and Leadership team
  • Improve monthly forecasting and top-line reporting
  • Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and rolling forecasts
  • Assist with building multi-year plans
  • Provide supplemental trend analysis as necessary
  • Develop dashboards for executives to give insights to KPI’s and over-arching business performance
  • Assists in pricing evaluations for the Request for Proposal (RFP) and contracting processes internally
  • Actively participate to ensure timely submission of all RFPs, proposals, and necessary documentation
  • Assist with special finance projects and partner with cross-functional departments in preparing analyses including financial modeling of new business ideas, due diligence, M&A, and external evaluations

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • Preference for candidates based in EST or CST time zone
