Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related areas within the financial services sector
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems and systems migration is an advantage
  • Prior experience in Fintech Industry preferably crypto currencies
  • Proven experience in the financial services industry, preferably within MTLs or MSBs
  • Strong technical knowledge of client money regulations, accounting principles, budgeting, tax, transfer pricing, and financial reporting analysis
  • Effective solutions provider, adept at troubleshooting financial issues and offering strategic advice
  • Clear, concise communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives
  • Analytical mindset, with a focus on data-driven decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to client money regulations, implementing and overseeing compliant practices and procedures to safeguard client assets
  • Manage all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Conduct financial reporting analysis to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Oversee tax planning, compliance, and transfer pricing activities to optimize tax efficiency while meeting international tax standards
  • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational objectives and market changes, supporting revenue generation and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, providing financial insights and solutions to support decision-making. Present complex data and recommendations in a clear, actionable manner

Preferred Qualifications

CPA, CMA, or similar certification
