Accounting Manager

You will be responsible for preparing financial reports according to US GAAP, managing the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (ASC-606), and overseeing accounts receivable and payable. Requirements

• 5-8 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to efficiently and effectively prioritize and perform multiple projects while working with varying team members, as well as work independently with limited required direction
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail
• Eager to learn new things and take on additional tasks to support the team

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timely financial reporting
• Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly and annual books and lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, with accuracy
• Process customer invoices
• Assist with Accounts Receivable collections
• Communicates issues and resolutions to management and affected areas/departments
• Assist in annual financial audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for senior leadership as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Netsuite, Captivate IQ, Salesforce + ASC-606
