Accounting & Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the company's financial records and transactions
• Month-end, quarter-end and year-end close
• Calculate taxes (VAT, CIT, PIT) and prepare tax returns
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and general ledger accounts
• Process payroll for employees, ensuring accurate calculations, deductions, and timely payments
• Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and other payroll-related documentation
• Communicate and actively partner with the HR department as needed on payroll related matters
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Handle the processing of invoices, receipts, and payments
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial documents
• Report to external institutions (US, ZUS, GUS, NBP) according to deadlines
• Collaborate with the British subsidiary to provide financial data and support their accounting processes
• Stay updated on relevant accounting and payroll regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes
