Join a growing, fully remote staffing firm as an Accounting Services Sales Manager. Lead and optimize the accounting services sales program, overseeing both inside and outside sales and driving business development. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue goals, expand market share, and align sales across multiple firms. Collaborate with marketing and partnerships to maximize growth. Recruit, coach, and lead Sales Specialists, building a collaborative sales culture. Represent the company at industry events and cultivate strategic partnerships. Deliver performance reports and actionable insights to executive leadership. This is a full-time, exempt, W-2 role with a vibrant company culture, offering a work-from-home opportunity.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in sales management, preferably within the accounting or staffing industry; background in client services is beneficial
- Ability to organize and present sales data to executive leadership, providing insights to track performance against revenue goals
- Familiarity with selling accounting services, such as payroll, tax, outsourced accounting, and financial advisory
- Experience leading in a remote work environment, managing both inside and outside sales functions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a focus on developing and maintaining professional relationships
- Ability to collaborate across teams and contribute to integrated strategies with marketing and partnership groups
- Knowledge of accounting, tax, finance, or fractional service industries
- Willingness to travel for meetings, annual team gatherings, and relevant industry events as required
Responsibilities
- Full Sales Funnel Ownership: Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline metrics, and quarterly performance reviews. Focus on increasing deal size, improving client retention, shortening sales cycles, and ensuring accurate CRM records in Salesforce
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute strategies to meet revenue goals and expand market share. Align sales across four acquired firms and target growth in CPA, accounting, wealth management, and payroll services with white-label offerings
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify and convert leads through research and relationship-building. Contribute directly to revenue by closing deals and driving team success
- Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to develop campaigns, promotions, and sales materials that increase lead generation and conversion. Support referral partnerships to broaden client reach
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, coach, and lead Sales Specialists. Build a collaborative, results-driven sales culture centered on team success
- Business Development & Events: Represent the company in key meetings and industry events to enhance visibility and cultivate strategic partnerships
- Market Analysis: Partner with marketing to track trends and monitor competitors. Adjust sales approaches based on the distinct value proposition of each service line
- Sales Reporting & KPIs: Deliver performance reports and actionable insights to executive leadership, guiding strategic decisions and resource allocation
