Accounts Payable Specialist

Summary

Join Tellent as an AP Specialist and play an integral role in the Finance team's day-to-day operations in Amsterdam and Poland. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth month-end close and contributing to the development of scalable finance processes. This role involves processing purchase invoices and payments, acting as the primary contact for vendors, and supporting colleagues. After an initial onboarding period, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to process improvements. The position offers a hybrid or fully remote work option within the Netherlands and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in accounts payable team
• Very good command of the English language, verbal and written
• Masters/HBO+ in accounting, finance or business administration
• General accounting knowledge
• General knowledge of VAT and EU sales list
• Excel/Google Sheet proficiency

Responsibilities

• Processing of purchase invoices
• Processing of payments
• Be the first point of contact for our vendors
• Review and process expense reports
• Perform month close journal entries and accounts reconciliation
• Support yearly audit and preparation of financial reports
• Identify and implement controls, processes and system improvements
