AP Staff Accountant

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships count!)
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, GLs, accruals, Financials)
• Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in English and able to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations, including invoice processing and vendor reconciliations
• Assist with monthly close activities: accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Help track purchase orders and ensure proper invoice matching
• Work closely with other teams to resolve discrepancies or gather missing data
• Maintain accurate financial records and help improve internal processes
• Contribute to audit preparation and reporting as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with accounting, P2P and ERP tools (e.g. NetSuite, NAV, SAP, Primavera, etc.)
• Familiarity with international accounting standards or working with global teams
• A proactive mindset — you like improving how things are done, not just following instructions
• Interest in building a career in accounting or finance within a fast-paced environment
