Summary

Join Altium's Altium 365 Customer Response team as an Application Engineer! You will be responsible for supporting cloud and on-prem products, integrations with PLM systems, and Altium solutions. A typical day involves enhancing team understanding of various systems, managing test instances, resolving customer issues, influencing product development, and creating technical documentation. This role requires enterprise-level solution experience, system administration skills, and ECAD/EDA familiarity. Preferred qualifications include an engineering background and strong systems architecture understanding. Requirements

  • Proven experience in deploying or supporting enterprise-level solutions
  • Experience with system administration, scripting and automation
  • Familiarity with ECAD (Electronic Computer-Aided Design) and EDA (Electronic Design Automation) integration flows
  • Strong grasp of enterprise systems architecture, including data flows and processes
  • Proficiency in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the team's understanding of cloud, on-prem, and PLM systems and their applications
  • Set up and maintain test instances of various software systems and their versions
  • Analyze, propose, and implement solutions for customer issues and related requests
  • Contribute to shaping the product development and integration roadmap by providing insights and recommendations based on customer feedback and industry trends
  • Assist in developing comprehensive technical documents, knowledge base articles, and product training materials

Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications in adjacent engineering domains such as electronics, electrical, software, or mechanical engineering
