Field Application Engineer

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering with Business Studies (or similar)
• Boast 3+ years of experience in IIoT, SCADA, MES, or distributed systems
• Know your way around Docker & Kubernetes (containers are your thing!)
• Have killer communication and sales skills —you can talk tech to anyone
• Love problem-solving, managing projects, and crushing deadlines
• Based in the USA and eligible to work without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Craft and deliver engaging technical presentations that showcase Portainer’s edge capabilities
• Develop and implement Proof of Concepts that wow potential customers
• Create digital content (videos, blogs, etc.) to spread the Portainer gospel
• Close deals and build lasting relationships with new and existing customers
• Gather client feedback and help shape the future of our products
• Travel regionally and internationally to attend (or steal the show at) industry events
• Collaborate with the product team to enhance features and create cutting-edge solutions
• Assist with customer onboarding to ensure our customers get the most out of Portainer
