Summary

Join our team as an Accountant and play a key role in our monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls, support revenue recognition, and maintain the general ledger. Partner with the CFO on audit preparation, tax filings, and reporting. Assist in scaling accounting operations as the company grows, including potential automation of billing, collections, and reporting. Evaluate and improve systems for efficiency, focusing on integrations between our ERP system (Sage Intacct) and other tools. Support budgeting and forecasting as needed.

Requirements

3–5 years of relevant accounting experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls
  • Support revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and complex billing structures
  • Maintain the GL and oversee account reconciliations
  • Partner with CFO on audit prep, tax filings, and board/investor reporting
  • Assist in scaling accounting operations as ARR grows β€” potentially including billing, collections, and reporting automation
  • Evaluate and improve systems for scale and efficiency, specifically integrations between the incumbent ERP system, Sage Intacct, with other critical components of the tech stack, HubSpot and ClickUp
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sage Intacct highly preferred; other ERP systems acceptable (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Online Advanced with strong controls)
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP; revenue recognition expertise is a plus
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
