Summary

Join MO, a company dedicated to improving government services through human-centered design, as an Associate Product Manager. You will be part of a small, cross-functional team building mobile app features for veterans. Responsibilities include owning the product management process, breaking down complex processes, engaging with stakeholders, tracking metrics, and collaborating with engineers and designers. The ideal candidate possesses experience in product management, user-centered design, agile methodologies, and stakeholder management. Requirements

  • 1+ yrs demonstrated skill in product management methodologies, driving the creation and prioritization of product backlogs and/or roadmaps
  • Experience engaging with users or user data and turning insights into user stories
  • Proficiency in iterative solution development methodology (like agile) and in workflow management platforms (like JIRA)
  • Experience fostering a shared vision among diverse teams
  • Understanding of how to determine client needs, sculpt project scope, and ensure delivery of customer-centric solutions
  • US Citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Own the product management process to ensure delivery of solutions in alignment with customer needs and stakeholder objectives
  • Break down and simplify complex processes, crafting them into clear user stories, workflows, and other solutions
  • Engage with engineers, VA stakeholders, designers, and other team members to set product direction and prioritize based on customer insights and business value
  • Track metrics and customer feedback, leading the iteration and refinement of features to enhance customer experience
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate user insights into effective solution ideas
  • Facilitating discovery sessions, prioritization workshops, roadmapping, customer interviews, and agile sprint ceremonies to bring ideas from concept to launch and continued evolution
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring continuous transparency and alignment on solution vision and progress

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a client services organization (i.e., consulting or a digital agency)
  • Interest in working with the government
