Summary

Join Thumbtack as an Associate Recruiter and become our talent acquisition expert, handling the entire recruiting process from start to finish for the Philippines market. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding hiring targets, conducting data-driven analysis, developing strong talent pipelines, screening candidates, and maintaining accurate recruitment reports. This role requires at least 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, advanced sourcing skills, strong stakeholder management, and impeccable English communication skills. The position offers a virtual-first working model, allowing you to work from approved locations across the United States, Canada, or the Philippines. Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in recruitment/talent acquisition, with a strong understanding of tech, shared/services, outsourcing or similar industries
  • Advanced sourcing skills, using both traditional and non-traditional methods, including internal employees for referrals, boolean sourcing, talent mapping and headhunting, vendor and other external partnerships, and effective networking skills
  • Highly knowledgeable in leveraging sourcing and social media platforms, including Jobstreet, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Facebook, etc
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable English communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed hiring targets (headcount and timeline) by effectively managing the hiring process from the initial intake of job requirements through to presenting job offers, and facilitating the pre-ONB process in partnership with People Operations
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to solve hiring-related bottlenecks and issues as they arise
  • Develop a strong talent pipeline, either in partnership with the Sourcer and/or directly sourcing candidates through job portals, networking, researching, and other non-traditional search tools and methods
  • Screen or interview potential candidates to help determine job skills, culture and team fit
  • Maintain accurate reports capturing the recruitment cycle, as well as other administrative tasks required by the recruitment process such as but not limited to scheduling, pre-onboarding, etc

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced user skills in tracking and recruitment management tools, including: Applicant tracking system (preferably Greenhouse)
  • Google Apps, scheduling and reporting tools
  • Experience with recruitment marketing - highly creative, with a strong understanding of key marketing concepts and ability to apply them in recruiting/talent acquisition
