Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of software development processes and release management methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and planning skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to successfully partner and build relationships with all functions across the entire company and across multiple time zones
  • Demonstrated experience to thrive in a cross-functional, matrix management environment
  • Experience building, growing, and leading a technical program management team and establishing a culture of excellence within a software organization
  • 10+ years of software industry experience, including software development, information technology, or technical product/program management experience
  • 10+ years of people management experience leading teams to deliver technical programs or products from inception to delivery

Responsibilities

  • Create a high performing Program Management organization that is responsible and accountable for: Reliable end-to-end project delivery plans, influencing teams to deliver against them, and keeping the org and leadership informed on progress
  • Working across organizations to align plans, manage dependencies, identifying and addressing setbacks to ensure execution is aligned with the plans
  • Providing continuous visibility to program status (issues, risks, metrics, etc.) through targeted status reporting for different audiences
  • Successful delivery of customer delivery projects
  • Institute best practices, structures and processes to ensure organized and streamlined workflow, effective communication, effective risk identification and mitigation, and on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions for scalable, predictable and high quality delivery
  • Develop strong partnerships with key functional stakeholders across the organization to drive focus on business goals; including leaders from Product Management, Engineering, Customer Strategy and Growth/Sales
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the customer base to act as a trusted partner, escalation point and influence decisions for mutual benefit
  • Responsible for people management - hiring, developing, and implementing organizational structure, delivering performance reviews, providing continual feedback, coaching and career growth
  • Manage, mentor, and grow the existing project management team
  • Ensure access management is performed in compliance with the employee's role and responsibilities
  • Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures within the department and team
  • Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations
  • Compliance with Information Security Policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in startup or scale-up environment
  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
