Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within a B2B business environment in roles responsible for revenue generation in excess of $20m+ per year
  • Proven experience in growing and managing sales teams in a media agency, service business, software, or B2B SaaS environment
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business development and growth strategies
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High-level of written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in sales and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Customer-focused with a passion for driving client success

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead and manage the sales team, including Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Account Executives, and Account Managers, to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Operate as both a player and coach during the initial sales-team building period, owning and delivering a personal quota as the team is hired and delivering results
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth and expand our client base in the media agency, service business, software, or B2B SaaS sectors
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement
  • Formulate and execute sales growth strategies, leveraging market insights and data to drive informed decision-making
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention
  • Establish and implement KPIs aligned with business goals, monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Provide efficient, detailed and accurate reporting to company leadership on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to ensure TLNT remains competitive and innovative
