Summary

The job is for a Software Engineer position at Vonage to develop a fraud prevention platform. The role involves building systems, creating scalable microservices, writing efficient code, and working with public cloud infrastructure. Requirements

• Excellent software engineering skills in Java
• An excellent practical understanding of high performance, highly distributed computing
• A strong focus on testing
• An understanding of Object Oriented Design and standard design patterns
• Experience of multi-threaded, 3-tier architectures, web services and caching
• Experience dealing with event-driven pipeline

Responsibilities

• Build systems to add features to our fraud prevention platform
• Create scalable microservices that will help support our impressive growth
• Write efficient and scalable code, in well-tested systems
• Develop on a public cloud infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and use different technology/programming language
• Experience working with public cloud. AWS would be advantageous
