Summary
Join HubSpot's People Team as a Benefits Manager and lead the design and administration of AMER benefit programs. You will oversee benefits administration across the US, Canada, and Colombia, ensuring accurate and efficient program execution. Strategic responsibilities include evaluating program competitiveness, recommending innovative solutions, and developing regional strategies aligned with company goals. Compliance with regional laws and regulations is crucial, as is effective employee communication. You will also manage vendor relationships, collaborate with finance on budgeting, and mentor a team. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years of experience in benefits management, and in-depth knowledge of benefits compliance. Workday experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in benefits management, design, and administration experience
- In-depth knowledge of benefits compliance requirements and best practices in the Americas region
- Strong project management skills and proven ability to manage and execute multiple, complex projects, budgets, and vendor relationships
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to inform decisions
- Exceptional collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on employee experience and stakeholder collaboration
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service focus with ability to work with confidential information and consistently exercise good judgment
Responsibilities
- Oversee & administer HubSpot’s benefit programs throughout AMER and LATAM region (US, Canada, and Colombia) including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and other offerings
- Ensure programs are administered accurately and efficiently, including vendor management and audits/reconciliation
- Implement new automation, operational, and process improvements
- Evaluate competitiveness of programs and recommend innovative benefits solutions (within budget constraints) to meet the needs of a diverse, multi-generational workforce
- Develop regional benefits strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals and market competitiveness
- Ensure all benefits programs comply with regional laws and regulations (e.g. ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and local requirements)
- Stay current with legal and regulatory changes and implement necessary updates
- Lead communication strategies to educate employees about their benefits, including open enrollment, plan changes, and wellness initiatives
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, resolving complex benefits issues promptly and professionally
- Partner with brokers to negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure quality service delivery
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the benefits budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Manage and mentor administrative and regional benefits staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CEBS, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)

- Cash compensation range: 124600-199400 USD Annually
- Base salary
- On-target commission for employees in eligible roles
- Annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles
