Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a Billing Manager or in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Experience in Software and service contract invoicing including multi-year contracts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Outstanding leadership and supervisory abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage billing operations and monitor operational/financial workflows to ensure billing compliance for new and existing customers
  • Analyze accounts receivable (A/R) data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Partner with sales and customer service to resolve billing inquiries, providing assistance with information requests
  • Identify inefficiencies in accounts receivable processes and develop solutions to streamline workflows
  • Generate billing reports with actionable insight and present them to senior management
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis, as needed
  • Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and company policies
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance accounts payable/receivable systems, tools, and processes
  • Train, supervise, and support invoicing and collections staff

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Sage contract module invoicing highly preferred
