Requirements

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Proven experience in international billing operations
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software
  • Strong understanding of billing, invoicing, and reconciliation processes
  • Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working with people from different backgrounds and locations

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end billing function, including the accurate setup and maintenance of customer records, agreements, and invoicing in line with company standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient processes, compliance with policies, and timely communication with stakeholders
  • Assist in streamlining the billing workflows and generating reports for management
  • Proven experience in processing and issuing accurate invoices in line with company policies and client agreements
  • Strong ability to reconcile billing data and ensure timely payment processing
  • Experience supporting multi-region billing operations (e.g., New Zealand, Australia, Philippines)
  • Skilled in managing customer accounts and agreements, including setup, updates, and terminations using billing systems such as ConnectWise or Reckon
  • Capable of generating monthly and ad hoc invoices, credit notes, and handling billing inquiries and discrepancies
  • Familiarity with creating and maintaining contracts for products, services, and solutions (excluding SaaS)
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, finance, and customer service teams
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills for generating and reviewing billing reports to detect errors or trends
  • Willingness to provide administrative support, assist with onboarding, and contribute to general office tasks as needed
  • Knowledge of billing compliance standards and commitment to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all billing activities
